Background
Our client is a leading hospitality venue in Wexford. The venue boasts a busy bar and an up-market restaurant with a considerable, loyal clientele. An experienced General Manager is required to take charge of this busy operation.
Position
· Manage and motivate a professional team, taking responsibility for such areas as, food provision, bar management, customer service, training, portion control, financial management, budgeting, promotion, cleanliness, appraising performance, recruiting, planning and discipline.
· Ensure that the highest standards of customer satisfaction are continually achieved.
· Keep the owners accurately appraised of business performance, comparing actual against budget.
· Provide creative menus and innovative ideas in the provision of food and drink.
· Ensure that all statutory and legal requirements are complied with.
· Positively promote the business ensuring that the business continues to grow and that it’s impeccable reputation is upheld.
Requirement
· An experienced and progressive professional who is capable of multi-tasking in a very busy environment.
· An excellent man-manager who motivates through leading from the front, by example.
· A proven track record in providing uncompromising standards of customer service.
· A strong business acumen and financial aptitude.
· A creative catering professional who has a track record of innovation and achievement.
