Our client a popular 4* Hotel based in Limerick is seeking to recruit an Accommodation / Housekeeping Manager.<br />
<strong>Your responsibilities will include:</strong><br />
To provide support and guidance to the accommodation team including cleaners, bed makers, and the accommodation supervisor.<br />
Show excellent customer service skills in handling feedback and guest interaction<br />
Manage the daily allocation of workload in line with arrival and departure numbers<br />
The control of budgets in relation to staff hours, cleaning chemicals and inventoryIdentify and rectify problems, monitor the performance of the cleaning and checking team<br />
Manage staff rota’s in line with budget allocation and workload<br />
Process time sheetsManage inventory and linen control<br />
Monitor stock levels and place orders with suppliers<br />
Control keys<br />
Liaise with the Maintenance, Reception and Management teams<br />
To organise the deep cleaning of accommodation units<br />
Assist with any other duties to suit the requirements of the business as directed by the General Manager.<br />

Excellent customer service skills<br />
Experience of leading and managing a large housekeeping team<br />
The ability to recruit, train and motivate a dedicated team<br />
Skills in planning and scheduling<br />
Be a clear communicator<br />
Have the ability to prioritise your workload<br />
Excellent attention to detailBe an effective team player<br />
Good computer skills<br />
You will have experience of working in a housekeeping environment and of managing a team.</p>
