Assistant Manager

Westport
Our client is a successful 4* hotel based in Westport. They require an experienced and capable Assistant Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
• Manage front office, housekeeping and conference departments
• Responsible for closing down and cashing up on duty and processing customer credit charges in liaison with other relevant departments
• Train new members of the team and providing refresher training to existing team members as required
• Lead team briefings and ensure the Services team are communicated with in a clear and timely manner
• Attend and contribute to management meetings
• Ensure all health, safety and hygiene practices and procedures are followed correctly
• Liaise with clients and guests to be able to meet and exceed their expectations
Requirements:
• Excellent interpersonal skills with confident ability to communicate with management team, all service departments and wide range of guests.
•Previous experience at supervisory /shift management level
•Basic understanding of P&L accounts
•Standards driven and detail orientated, you will be used to thinking on your feet and remaining calm under pressure.
