Our client is a well known high quality 4* Hotel based in Westport, County Mayo. They require an experienced and capable Breakfast Chef to join their professional kitchen team.
The position is full time and the ability to work weekend shifts is essential. There is an opportunity for career progression in the short term.
Responsibilities include:
All cooking and preperation of breakfast.
Keeping the breakfast buffet trays full and fresh
Organising stock levels in the kitchen and re-ordering fresh produce when required.
Stock taking and stock rotation, ensuring no waste and maximising product profitability.
Ability to adjust and produce breakfasts to suit dietary restrictions.
The successful candidate will:
Be able to work early morning and weekend shifts
Have strong knowledge of HACCP and all other aspects of health and safety regulations.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
A cool head and able to work under pressure in a busy environment.
