Our client, a leading Galway City Hotel, is seeking to recruit a Food and Beverage Manager to oversee all aspects of food & beverage including all corporate catering, weddings and functions as well as routine guest requirements.
Essential Qualifications are:
Experience in a similar role within the industry at management level.
Experience managing within a multi faceted hotel with banqueting, weddings, corporate events, fine dining restaurant and busy bars.
Excellent financial planning skills, budgeting and cost control.
Successful leadership ability.
Track record of achieving set targets and future planning.
IT skills.
Good educational standard.
Advanced Food Hygiene Certificate.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Project management experience.
Working knowledge of health and safety legislation.
The main responsibilities of the role are:
Oversee the financial and operational objectives of the food and beverage business for the hotel.
Manage the food and beverage standards of delivery and ensure they are upheld and continuously improved.
Maximise the economic impact of the hotel and help increase productivity.
