A la Carte Recruitment are delighted to to assist one of Ireland's finest resort Hotels in finding a suitable Manager of Food & Beverage at the 5* Hotel.

Responsibilities;

The successful candidate will develop, implement and maintain quality standards for the provision of Food & Beverages, including supervision and direction of service staff. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, organizing and conducting pre-shift and departmental meetings, scheduling and directing staff in their work assignments, creating forecast and revenue reports and ensuring excellent customer service. The Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for hiring, training, and directing F&B staff. The right candidate will be an organized professional who has the ability to interact positively with customers and to resolve guest and associate issues. The position requires exceeding the expectation of guests while working in a supportive team atmosphere.

Responsible for the development and implementation of the training plan to ensure a high quality presentation and level of customer service within the Food & Beverage service staffs. Responsible for staff feedback, reviews, appraisal and performance notes.

Inspect and oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of all function space, public areas, and service areas on all Food & Beverage levels. Coordinate with Housekeeping and Engineering to ensure the highest level of product delivery.

Requirements;

Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.

Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.

Possess basic computer skills & ability

Have a working knowledge of types of room set-ups, capacities, relation to type of event, etc.

Have excellent interpersonal and sales-related skills.

Have exceptional organizational, supervisory skills.

Must be able to prepare and analyze data and figures, and reports prepared on and generated by computer.

Must have exceptional food and beverage knowledge and pricing gained within at least a 4* Hotel.
