An opportunity has arisen for an exceptional Food & Beverage professional at one of the finest Hotel Resorts in Ireland. The resort provides an award winning restaurant along with three bars and a bistro and cafe.
The facility also provides for large conferences, weddings, conventions, events and other functions. They require an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to manage all day to day operations of the very busy food & beverage department.
With a team of quality staff, we are looking for someone who can look after all training and development of the team, motivating them and ensuring they provide the highest level of customer service. You will also manage your department's financial performance and ensure that service, food presentation and menu offering is to the highest standard and that you know the offering and operation inside out. You will also possess strong financial skills - cost controls, food costings, P & L forecasting alongside all back of house duties - H & S and stock control.
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Food & Beverage Manager in a 4/5* hotel is essential.
* Experience of managing events, banquets & functions
* A real passion for food & beverage management
* Strong fresh food & restaurant knowledge - food presentation, menu development, food costings, table & restaurant presentation
* The ability to train, develop and motivate your team
* Experience of marketing & creating promotions in the food & beverage department
* Committed to providing the highest standards of service
* Ability to converse with customers from all backgrounds
* Bright & bubbly with great communication skills - a great host
* Strong organisational skills
* Computer literate
* Financially astute - P & L accountable, strong at forecasting, stock & cost controls
* Strong back of house skills
* Bar/Cellar management skills
