A la Carte Recruitment are proud to represent our outstanding Hotel client. They have an exceptional reputation for providing the highest standards of customer experience at their award winning hotel. They are seeking a high-achieving General Manager who will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of this very busy high-end Hotel.
As the General Manager you will manage and maximise the financial performance of the hotel, ensuring at least achievement of budgeted sales and managing costs to achieve targeted profitability. A key part of the role is to ensure guest expectations are exceeded to enhance the hotels reputation plus lead, develop and motivate the team.
Managing a team of Heads of Department, providing clear leadership for the hotel, setting consistent standards of service across all areas of the operation, managing budgets, controlling expenditure and accounting for monthly profit and loss plus being visible to guests at all times, to build relationships, respond to feedback or deal with complaints when they arise.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a 4* or 5* hotel at either at GM level or Deputy GM level and be looking for the next rewarding and challenging position in their hospitality career.
