A la Carte Recruitment are delighted to assist our client, a leading 4* Hotel based in Limerick, to identify suitable candidates for the position of Head Chef. Reporting to the General Manager the successful candidate will be an experienced and creative Head Chef who will manage a capable team of chefs and set consistently high standards of food through all outlets. This property already has a excellent reputation for serving innovative dishes through the busy a la carte restaurant, popular banqueting trade of 200+covers, and wedding venue. This Hotel also caters for afternoon teas.
As Head Chef you be responsible for the management and development of the team of chefs, encouraging their creative input and ensuring positive succession planning. You will be creating quality seasonal menus utilising local produce and encompassing market trends whenever appropriate. We are looking for a Head chef with previous experience in volume Hotels, ideally with AA-rosette experience. A Head chef who can ensure all Health and Safety procedures are followed, whilst controlling stock and ordering and managing costs.
