Our client is a very well known hotel in Dublin. It possesses a very large fine dining restaurant and great wines. They have an exciting new position for a full time head waiter to join this fabulous restaurant. The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, ideally fine dining waiter, in a hotel restaurant
Job Description
1) You will supervise and organise all dining activities by assigning duties and responsibilities to waiting staff, and monitor their performance.
2) Inspect all tables and work surfaces for cleanliness.
3) Respond to customer complaints and any other issues in a calm and professional manor, and act accordingly.
4) Keep a cool head and react well to pressure situations.
5) Greet customers and walk them to their tables in a confident and polite manor.
6) Control and maintain the storage of restaurant equipment including glassware, china and cutlery.
7) Work closely and maintain good communication with the restaurant manager and head chef in the organisation of upcoming events, staff training, menu designing etc.
8) Have the ability to make good recommendations of food and wine to the customers.
The successful candidate will have
1) Previous experience in a large hotel restaurant.
2) Excellent communication skills
3) Superb leadership abilities
4) Have a strong knowledge in wines
5 Strong organisational skills.
6) A passion for excellent customer service and satisfaction.
7) Hard working and a desire for career progression.

Salary: €25,000.00 /year
