A prestiduous, well known hotel in Kerry, require an experienced restaurant manager for their award winning restaurant. It is a fine dining restaurant that has been awarded 2 Rosettes for culinary excellence.
Responsibilities include:
Modelling behaviours and inspiring the restaurant team to meet the standards of culinary excellence and superb customer service and satisfaction that the hotel promise to offer their customers.
Work along side the F&B Manager, Head Chef and your assistant, to help maximise and maintain high quality standards that will keep the customers coming back for more.
Ensure that the staff are well trained, motivated and have a passion for providing excellent customer service and satisfaction.
Help to create a positive and well organised work environment for all the staff.
Maximise revenue and profit margins through focus on sales, good budgeting ability and planning of marketing intiatives including social media.
The Ideal Candidate
You will have at least 2 years experience in a similar role in a hotel restaurant.
Have experience in managing large functions suchas banquets and weddings.
Good knowledge of marketing plans, revenue and budgeting.
Excellent communication, organisation and management skills are essential.
Ability to manage a team in a busy property and keep a cool head and make wise decisions in a high pressure situation.
Speak fluent English.
