Our client is a leading 4* Hotel based in North Wexford. They require an experienced Hotel Sales Manager with responsibility for developing bookings in their events, meetings, weddings and functions areas.
Duties to include:
Dealing with wedding / function / event queries
Dealing with corporate enquiries and corporate clients
Organising meal tastings
Log wedding and event enquiries
Filing and preparing all contracts
Preparing table plans, menus liaising with conference and banqueting manager and assisting with set up where required
Inputting information in hotsoft and updating all event files
Answer calls and emails around conference and wedding business, both on the books and new business
Participate in hotel promotions when required
Ensure the complete administration and execution of events
The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
Ability to answer queries in a timely manner
Ability to problem solve and use initiative
Good telephone manner when dealing guest queries
Enthusiastic and Interested in a new challenge
Ability to work under pressure
Excellent organisational skills essential.
A positive attitude and an honest and trustworthy character
Carry out duties in a diligent manner and to a high standard
Skill & Experience:
Strong admin skills including an ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Experience with hotsoft an advantage
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skill
