Senior Chef de Partie

Our client is a well known and popular 4* Hotel based in North West Dublin. They require a Senior Chef de Partie to join their talented kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the junior chefs and ensuring high levels of food preparation to deliver an excellent customer experience. You will also be required to assist with food cost controls. The ideal candidate will have experience of working with fresh food in a hotel environment, a positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensure all food preparation meets standards and prepare and present high quality food
- Supervise kitchen staff
- Keep all working areas clean and tidy and ensure no cross contamination
- Assist in positive outcomes from guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
- Contribute to controlling costs, improving gross profit margins, and other departmental and financial targets
- Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships
- Assist Head Chef/Sous Chef in the training of all staff in compliance of company procedures
Requirements:
- You will be a qualified chef with at least 3 years experience
- You will have worked in a professional kitchen environment within a reputable hotel/restaurant
- You will be a passionate chef with a desire to provide food of the highest standard
- You must have excellent communication skills
