A quality award winning hotel restaurant has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team.
As a Senior Chef de Partie you will have these responsibilities:
1) Oversee all areas of food preparation in the kitchen
2) Manage, encourage and train the Commis Chef and the Demi Chef de Partie who will be working with you
3) Preparing, cooking and presenting food to a very high standard.
4) Helping the Sous chef and the Head chef develop new ideas for menus and dishes.
5) Ensure you have a high standard of food hygiene and follow all health and safety regulations.
6) Report any issues or stock shortages to the Head Chef or Sous Chef
7) Monitor portion control and waste control to maintain good profit margins.
This position requires you to have:
