The hotel is a well known venue with an outstanding reputation for high quality service and superb food at their award winning restaurant. The Senior Sous Chef role is vital to the overall success of the kitchen team and we require a passionate and committed professional who is enthusiastic about delivering a great guest experience.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook and present food in accordance with the hotel's high standards.
- Lead the team in delivering an excellent guest experience.
- Train and develop the kitchen team.
- Manage stock control and ordering.
- Take pride in maintaining highest standards of cleanliness
- Adhere to safety and hygiene regulations at all times
- Organise kitchen team shifts and rosters
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar position at a quality Hotel
- Ability to train and develop the team
- Great team-player
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
- Engage with the wider hotel management team
- A great eye for detail
- A can-do atitude
