Leading hotel with diverse food and beverage operations require a capable and experienced Sous Chef.
The hotel has recently refurbished the restaurant area to a high standard and they are ambitious to develop the provision of food to rosette level. Our client is looking for a creative and competent Senior Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in pushing the kitchen operation forward.
Day to day duties will include:
* team training and development
* creating innovative menu ideas
* health and safety and legal requirements
* budget controls,
* managing stock and suppliers
* deputising for the Head Chef.
We are looking for strong candidates who have a solid background in a quality hotel. You will have good experience in a high volume operation and be competent in both restaurant and events work. You will also ideally have ~Rosette level experience.
